Meet our Judges
We want to introduce this year’s SAMPS Awards judges who have the incredibly difficult task of shortlisting the many amazing applications we receive, as well as ultimately deciding on a winner. Between them, they have a wealth of experience in selling to scientists and we’re delighted to have them on board.
Owen Swift
Owen Swift has 18 years of experience in life science sales and marketing. He currently operates Swift Scientific, an independent sales agency serving research tool manufacturers and CROs. He is a proud generalist. Within biotech, he’s worked with segments from basic research to clinical applications and almost every step in between.
Susan Garrity Bish
Susan Garrity Bish is the co-founder and managing partner of Bottom Line Technologies, a consulting firm that has played a leading role in equipping global leaders for success. Before starting her communication consulting business 30 years ago, she held key roles in leading companies in healthcare devices and tech industries. The majority of her firm’s clients are in the life sciences sector, where making a difference is the bottom line.
Chris Conner
Chris Conner is a scientist and storyteller. He has published over 250 interviews of marketers, CEOs and scientists (including 2 Nobel Prize winners and a 6-year-old science podcaster) that educate, entertain and inspire audiences. He also recently wrote, directed and produced an award-winning documentary film. His firm, Life Science Marketing Radio, works with thought leaders in the life science industry to turn conversations into insights.
Gareth Pickering
Gareth Pickering is the co-founder and Director at Orientation Marketing, a specialist pharmaceutical and life science media and marketing agency. Prior to this Gareth had spent over 22 years in B2B publishing and has broad experience in developing multi-channel global advertising campaigns across the life science industry across pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, performance materials, clinical and analytical chemistry markets.
