SAMPS adds Joanne Dimitrakopoulos , VP of global marketing at Agendia and Stephen Archer founding partner at Spring Partnerships to the Board of Directors

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, USA – January 30, 2019 – Sales And Marketing Professionals in Science (SAMPS) announces the addition of Joanne Dimitrakopoulos, Vice President of Global Marketing at Agendia and Stephen Archer, Founding Partner at Spring Partnerships to the Board of Directors.
Chuck Drucker, SAMPS President said, “After 6 successful annual meetings, starting with our first meeting in September 2013, I’d like to recognize the tremendous support and contributions of Bonni Scepkowski, who left the board of directors in December 2018. We welcome Joanne, who has led our annual meeting program team over the past two years. I would also like to welcome Stephen, who has supported us since the inception, and is now leading the efforts to enable the first European meeting, to the Board of Directors.”
Prior to her role as VP of Global Marketing at Agendia, Joanne held marketing leadership positions at Affymetrix and ThermoFisher Scientific. She holds Bachelors in Biotechnology and Masters in Digital Marketing. Stephen is a founding partner of sales strategy and commercial leadership consultancy, Spring Partnerships. He has consulted for CEOs, boards and senior management of FTSE 100 and multinational companies including Nestle, GE, KPMG, Carlsberg and Oracle and for the past twenty years has been exclusively serving the life sciences and diagnostics markets. His main areas of expertise are commercial and marketing strategy; leadership and culture for high performance organizations.

Sales And Marketing Professionals in Science (SAMPS) is the first organization for life science commercial professionals (sales, marketing, business development, client services, commercial operations and technical support) dedicated to selling and marketing to organizations (academic, government and commercial) that perform research, discovery, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic products and therapies.
The purpose of SAMPS is to serve its members, who are among the over 60,000 people globally who work in commercial roles for life science products and services companies.
